Solid and consistent

Mt. Kinbo in Tsuruoka City in the winter

Last year we had one solid dumping of snow and then a gradual drop over the course of a few months. This year, it’s a consistent drop, and altogether it is the most snow I’ve seen at our place in a few years (although I had been away for the last part of the season for a few of those years). I know which one I prefer.

Only having to deal with something once and for all is a much better proposition than something popping up on the regular. However, the latter does keep you on your toes, so it might actually be better for you in the long run. It just depends on how you look at it.
