The companion to low expectations

The companion to low expectations is not caring so much when things don’t go as planned. Of course you should care about things you are creating or working on, but you have to let it go once it’s in the world and can’t be changed. This is the same for the results of things that you now have no control over.

Low expectations probably isn’t helpful for motivating you, but neither is crying over spilt milk.
