The unpreparable

Tim Bunting Kiwi Yamabushi

There are a number of things in our lives that we simply have no way of preparing for. There are a number of things that when they hit you, they hit you like a brick and knock you over.

What do you do in times like that?

The answer is of course the same. Uketamo. I accept.

But sometimes it takes time to do just that. Sometimes it takes time to process the feelings, longer than you'd expect.

And that's fine.

Take all the time you need. If something is unpreparable, then you've already done all the preparation you could. No need to worry about it. Just take the time that you need to accept the situation for what it is. Give yourself space, and give yourself a break too. You have just gone through the unpreparable!
