The voice for it

You have it. Even if you think you don’t.

'You have the voice for it.’

This is what you say if someone has something special they can contribute to an endeavour they are either already doing, or are thinking of starting.

Or if they don’t, but you want to encourage them.

Yet the thing is, anyone can have the voice for it. Given enough practice and enough reps, anyone can build the voice for it. Or at the very least, their voice becomes the voice for it.

Either way, ‘you have the voice for it’ is a true statement.
