The Yamabushi Answer

What happens when you ask a Yamabushi a question?

When you ask a Yamabushi a question, the answer is always the same, and it’s always frustrating.

Go out into nature.

This isn’t always practical, but many questions aren’t either.

The reason for this answer is very simple. Most of the time, you find you actually already know the answer. All you needed was some sort of push or some way to extract the answer. Time out in nature just happens to be one amazing way to do that.

So the next time you think to ask a Yamabushi a question, try going out into nature first. You may find you already had the answer.
