This is the way

If you’ve seen The Mandalorian you’ll know what I’m talking about but this is the way is eerily similar to uketamo. There’s so many similarities between Star Wars and Yamabushi, George really put in the effort (although The Mandalorian is someone else).

Being thrust into the unknown, coming face to face with your deepest darkest fears, and then realizing that the only thing stopping you from getting further is yourself. The character arc of Luke in the original trilogy is the hero’s journey, and this basically describes the process of a metaphorical death and rebirth that Yamabushi undertake.

Plus of course Yoda is like a Yamabushi Master, and nature and the force are one and the same.
