Use today for tomorrow

Tim Bunting Kiwi Yamabushi

I’ve started swimming again after a break of 6 weeks, thanks to everyone’s new best friend the pool was closed. When I start back, it takes at least two months to get back to a comfortable pace for me. Until that point, I keep telling myself that today’s practice is to make it easier for tomorrow’s.

But isn’t everything like that? I think that’s what it means to be on a do, a way or path. Constantly working towards making things easier for yourself. At least that’s how I see it.
