Where am I being naive?

The perennial question for consulting

I’m not a consultant, nor do I claim to be. However, I do have an opinion and I think a bit of insight as a non-Japanese in Japan. Also, due to being the token foreigner who also happens to speak Japanese, a lot of the time I get dragged into conversations about how to ‘attract’ the foreign audience or the like.

In these cases, one question that turns up time and time again:

‘Where am I being naive?’

Or, put another way ‘Where is there a hole in my knowledge, and how can I fill it?’ ‘What am I potentially overlooking?’.

Answer this, and you’re well on your way to a solution.
