Your unique experience brings unique insights

I find explaining one certain aspect of my life makes people go quiet because they have no idea how to respond. And I don’t blame them, it’s not an easy topic (maybe you can guess). But by talking about it, I can talk about what I learned from it, and at the same time I can show that it’s healthy to talk about these sorts of things.

It’s a pretty simple observation, but the unique experience you have in the world brings unique insights to the world.

I have had a number of experiences that I’m certain other people haven’t, at least not in the same combination, so I think I have some unique insights to give. But the problem comes when people can’t relate to them, so you have to express them in such a way that people can relate and respond to them. At least that’s what I need to work on.

I think sharing these unique experiences is extremely important, for one, our ideas are exponentially better when they’re shared, and for two, it might just help someone in need.
