50 YouTube Videos

Mt. Maya

This morning I released my video on Mt. Maya (and article here), and it turns out this was my 50th YouTube video. A lot of the earlier videos are for English lessons so don’t really count, but I’m happy that there is a marked difference in the quality, it does seem as if I am getting better. The Mt. Maya video I am particularly proud of, I think I could do well to emulate that video in future. The 100 Mountains of Yamagata project is intended to help refine my video making skills, and as it currently stands, basically I want to make as many videos on the 100 mountains as I can as fast as possible to try and finish the project. If I can keep up the current pace, I should be done by the end of 2023, although from now on I will have to go much further afield to even get to the mountains. I’m hoping by then I should be able to make good quality videos much more easily, and my Mt. Maya video is showing that that would indeed be possible.
