Are you Uketamo-ing?

sea waving near sandy coast in evening

During our everyday lives there are times where things don't go the way we want them to. When these things pile up, it is easy to get angry or testy at even the smallest things that have nothing to do with the original problem, but that can exacerbate things unproportionately. These problems also have the potential to affect those around us negatively. This is exactly why we need to Uketamo whenever we can, to keep things in check and stop them becoming more trouble than they need to be.

Sometimes people need a reminder to Uketamo. Sometimes you need to ask them whether what they're angry about is really a problem, or if it's just problems piling up and hitting a crisis point. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves. Uketamo.
