Board games are a good way to challenge your self

I played Herbaceous and Merchants for the first time. I won herbaceous, well first equal, and did really badly on merchants because I wasn't sure how to win, but I learned quite a lot, and even got a bit of confidence back too. Been doubting my intelligence recently, but have bounced back admirably. I wonder if it's the fact I won that added to it, or that some of the decisions made turned out to be good, or that I picked up the games pretty fast. Either way, it was an interesting time!
