Close to Perfection

Don’t let impossible goals get in your way

When I was 15 I worked in a pizza shop, Hungry Kiwis Pizza. The shop has since gone out of business, but it was an amazing place full of lessons for an impressionable 15-year-old like me.

One thing I’ll always remember was the policy on cleaning. Or at least, what my boss told me.

We knew we would never be able to get things as clean as on the day they came.

That didn’t stop us from trying though.

When it’s obvious the perfect outcome is not attainable, don’t let it stop you from trying. While you may not be able to reach perfection, you are still able to at least get close.
