Five minute mitigation

Mt. Atsumi in Atsumi Onsen, a quaint Onsen Hot Spring town in Tsuruoka, Yamagata Prefecture

It’s amazing how much further a little more preparation and planning goes. Sometimes even just five minutes of thinking in advance of what you want something to look like makes all the difference. Then all you’ve got to do is prepare for that, and for a little contingency, but also to forgive yourself when things go a little outside what you’ve planned. That first five minutes of thinking goes a long way in mitigating the big problems.

Of course this does have the disadvantage of going with the flow, and letting things take its course, but that’s what the contingency and forgiveness is for.

P.s. I’ve set up a media page with quick links to my most recent content, although I should probably add a start here part too… anyway 🙂
