Focus on what you can change

Mt. Ubagatake in autumn

I’ve been getting a bit antsy checking my YouTube stats since for the past five or so weeks I’ve been able to put out a video. So I’ve gone ahead and deleted the YouTube studio app from my phone, good riddance. I’ve decided to focus on the things I can change, which is putting out the best content I can as often as I can.

Emails was another thing that I would constantly check, that app is gone, as is Reddit, and a few other game apps as well. These things can be time sinks, and I just don’t feel good after doing them (the same actually goes for gaming in general as well, rare amongst non-Japanese in Japan, I know).

Since it’s hard to control when you stop things like this, they also come under the umbrella of things you can’t control. This means they’re not worth focusing on (well a little can be ok), and I’m just going to focus on doing what I can.
