Fresh Eyes

As a beginner, you have so much more to learn, so much more to gain. As a beginner, you see things differently than a seasoned pro. Your attitude is one of sheer appreciation for the art, rather than perhaps a bit of ego, for doing things the way they have been done, in spite of the fact that every time you do it is different.

So, even for things like climbing mountains, cooking, teaching, swimming, or any experience whether new or old, try and come in with fresh eyes. Come in with as little expectation as possible, and experience things for what they are rather than constantly comparing things to expectations.

That way the experience is more real, and more the true essence of what it is meant to be.
