Focus on what’s in it for you

About to do something you’d rather not? Think ’what’s in it for me?’ ‘What’s to be gained from the experience?’ Then put your focus on that. And if that gain isn’t so apparent, trust that in time it will show itself.

Because it will. Even the worst experiences have silver linings.
