Injustices and discrepancies

When you have an in group, it’s very easy for injustices to perpetuate as people just don’t recognise them for what they are.

As an outsider, and one that can speak Japanese at that, I’m taking it as my personal mission here in Japan to point out the injustices I see.

Well, injustices or discrepancies, in a manner that stimulates dialogue so people can think for themselves on the matter.

I may not be able to change people, I accept that, but my hope is that by starting a conversation, I can change their views to be more inclusive.

As an outsider, it’s basically in the job description.
