Keep moving. Why keep moving?

Always going somewhere, always moving forward. There seems to be a focus on going somewhere. A focus on heading in some direction. People are always worried about where you’re going, but the ones who care about where you’re at are the ones that truly care.

What’s wrong with where you’re at? If you can be comfortable with that, you’ve probably mastered an ancient art, and you should stay there. That’s probably the aim anyway. But that’s a trap. It’s complacency and it doesn’t keep you on your toes.

The thing with always moving is that, when you’re stuck, or when something blocks you from moving forward, you have an alternative route to take. It stops you from being in a situation where you become complacent.

It may not be what you started out aiming for, but at least it’s somewhere to go, and something to aim for. This keeps you distracted from going backwards, which is a dark path to travel. That’s why we keep moving.
