Narrow your focus to get things done

If you’re stuck, try giving yourself boundaries.

Ten or so years ago on a trip to Vietnam I limited myself to only taking photos with a prime lens. This ended up being the perfect opportunity to test my photography skills, and I really felt I learned a lot.

Limiting in fact makes creativity much more freeing. You are given boundaries to work within, rather than having unlimited options to explore. Unlimited options to explore at times is paralysing. Instead, these boundaries narrow your focus and make producing something much easier overall.
