Plenty of Cricket Left

In the game

As with many other sports, cricket is a game that can change at the drop of a hat.

You still want your best batter batting. You still want your best bowler bowling. Yet the game is designed so that this isn’t always the case, and compromises must be made.

If you’re still in the game, you’re still in the game. There’s still enough time for enough drama to unfold and change the course of the game completely. What’s come before only has so much bearing on what’s coming next.

There’s still plenty of cricket left.
