Put life in easy mode

“You’re making it hard for yourself.” - Everyone’s Dad.

Everyone’s dad was probably right. Sometimes we do irrational things just to spite people, knowing fully well they are right.

That’s just stupid. Get over yourself.

My dad always said to take the option that makes options easier down the road. Make life easier for yourself as you go along. Put your later life in easy mode.

Of course when you get there, you find things probably aren’t as easy as you thought they would be. Either way, it beats having to deal with the same problems over and over.

There are a lot of things in my life that bring anxiety, but if considered seriously aren’t actually important. Best to get rid of those.

What areas in your life are you making hard for yourself? What if you just stopped doing them?
