Self-responsibility

Self-responsibility is really what it’s all about. When you’re in a group situation, you don’t have to do what the group chooses. Especially in teenage years, where it can be cool to do things just because your peers are doing so, you still gotta have self-responsibility.

We act differently in group situations, and especially when you’re young and susceptible, you’re likely to do stupid things. It takes self-responsibility and brevity to really take a stand then. It may not seem like it at the time, but if people force you to do things you don’t want to do, they aren’t your friends. You can get new friends, don’t worry.
