Set up for creativity

When we get an urge to do something creative, often we think too much about it, and the urge fades.

Make sure you’ve set up your environment for when you get the urge. You never know when you will feel inspired. Make sure you are in a situation where you can take advantage of that urge as soon as possible, otherwise it might fade.

For example, I have an app for my blog on my phone, so that when the urge comes, I can get straight to work. Other people always have instruments nearby, or have their pantries stocked with ingredients, or the tools they need available.
