Six months in

I promise I’ll stop with this type of blog post, soon enough, but I’ve been blogging every day now for half a year. I’ve gotten more and more used to it everyday, it’s now something I don’t think too much about.

Getting ideas out into the world has been excellent. I think my ideas can develop more by doing so, and in which case I think I can be more useful.

The daily aspect is also quite rewarding. Over time I build up a repertoire of posts that I otherwise wouldn’t have had that I can possibly use in the future. I see this having implications on other aspects in my life, but I’m yet to decide on that. I have a few ideas up my sleeve, although some may be weekly not daily to improve quality.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hi, I’m Tim Bunting AKA the Kiwi Yamabushi, a New Zealander who became a Yamabushi Ascetic in the Dewa Sanzan mountains of north Japan. I’m part of the Yamabushido team, and we host life-altering Yamabushi training on the Dewa Sanzan (website link). People come to us for the ultimate mindfulness experience, to reach the next level, or simply connect with nature and themselves.

I’m on a mission to summit all 100 Famous Mountains of Yamagata Prefecture to spread the splendour of this fabulous location, and in dedication to all those who lost their lives out in nature, including my father.

On my daily blog I post thoughts of a practicing Yamabushi that I hope people can use to better themselves and live as fulfilling a life as possible.
