The Slow Burn

fire and charcoal with black background

Bit by bit. Piece by piece. It burns.

The burn is constant, and slow. It’s forever working away quietly and without fuss.

Unless you get in its way. Unless you let it catch up to you through haste or impatience, which are the same thing.

Taken correctly, however, the slow burn can help you. One step a day. Periodic reminders. Timely updates. Work at it, and you can use it to your advantage.

The choice is yours.
