Trust Again

When it comes to work, trust is also important. This is something similar to that said in yesterday's post, but if you doubt someone's ability to do something, that doubt comes through, and it may just become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Don't pester people to get things done, especially when they say they will do them. Even if you're on a deadline, that person should have a deep enough understanding of that, and they don't need you to tell them every time you talk to them.

This is exactly what Abe-san at Zenpoji was saying yesterday. Don't worry about the future, worry about living in the now. Trust that other people will live in the now too, and it will go ok. Trust that people will do the work assigned them on time. Trust people! Especially when it's something you have absolutely no ability to do!
