We still have a choice

Shit happens. A lot. But how you let that shit affect you, well, you have a choice about that. You can let it get you down, or, you can use it to your advantage.

I used to get jealous of other people for not having had the same harsh experiences as me. Now, I use it to my advantage. Through these experiences I have learned some things that other people will never learn, like the sheer fragility of life, and that motivates me to live everyday as fulfilling as I can.

Because I have a choice. I can let the reality get me down, or I can use it to my advantage. But in the end, the choice is obvious. Letting things get you down is never an option.
