What impact are you going to make?

Flower in Japan in autumn shot by Tim Bunting

It’s not what impact do you want to make, it’s what impact are you going to make. Your existence alone means you’re going to have an impact on the world. It’s your choice what type of impact it’s going to be.

Are going to be passive, a bystander, someone who just watches things happen? Or are you going to be more active in your impact? Have an idea? Put it into action. Only then can it really make an impact.

Sometimes the impact we want to make doesn’t work out. Sometimes conscious effort at making an impact doesn’t work. That’s ok. That’s life. Either way, make sure you’re moving in a positive direction, whether consciously or not. You’re going to make an impact either way.
