What’s the silver lining?

All experiences have a lesson to learn

Some experiences we wish we never had. Some experiences we would never wish upon another human being. But all experiences add up to give us this thing called life. They all conspire to make us who we are.

We can’t change what happened in the past. But we can change our story about it. And we can take positives from any experience.

The key is to know to look for them. We may not know it in the moment, nor for a long time after the event, but these experiences do always have a lesson. We just have to be open to have the chance to know what they are.
