Win some, lose some

Tim Bunting Kiwi Yamabushi

Nice cool(ish) day today so I thought it would be a great time for a swim. Get to the pool to find out the outdoor pool is closed due to a thunderstorm warning. Nothing eventuating, so I hope they’d have it open some time soon. Have to swim inside for the meantime, but of course there’s only one lane available, and of course it’s full of old dudes and a small family doing one slow lap at a time. So, to give the family a good time, I decide to take my (at times rough) butterfly elsewhere. Win some, lose some, I guess. Sucks cos the pool is so far away too, maybe I should bike here so I can at least get that workout in too.
