A wonderful gift

My mother in law gave me something amazing and simple that I had never even thought was a thing. It was a set of beads like the ones that Buddhist monks use, and she instructed me to keep it in my car.

The reason? I guess she knows that sometimes I let out my stress* on the accelerator, and I need to keep it under control lest I make more trouble than I need. It’s like a charm to think about when you get hot headed, and I think it’s a wonderful idea. Here’s hoping I don’t have to use it that much though.

*this is stress about something in particular that I’m not going to go into here to protect privacy
