Do it for the future you

Build a flow that is focused on future benefit, in whatever form that may be; happiness, life satisfaction, heck, money even fits into this. For anyone who has read anything by Robert Kiyosaki, you would know about the concept of cashflow (great boardgame by the way), but the idea is to have more money coming in than is going out. This is a simple idea, and I like to think of it in terms of creative output, or productivity as well. Which leads me to the main point. Your flow should be designed so that future you benefits from current you. I know in Zen and in Yamabushi philosophy we put all our focus on here, now, self, but if you orient your here, now, self to work for future you, you can't go wrong.
