How you react is up to you

In situations where it feels as if the world is against you, you’ve been let down, you’ve been outcast, others succeed at your expense, in these situations you have to remember that you have a choice in how you react.

Do you lash out and be aggressive against those who have done you harm? Do you undermine them and try to tarnish their reputation? No, you don’t. This will only make the situation that much more worse.

Take a seat back and relax for a second. Let the situation sink in. Then, and only then, are you allowed to even start to think about a reaction. By this time you would have realised that your reaction is your reaction, so the others that have done you harm don’t even need to enter into the equation. Focus on doing good for yourself, and those around you who matter.
