Losing but gaining

NZ 'lost' the cricket last night and it was a good lesson in humility. Even though we drew, there was a rule that mean England got through on having scored more boundaries than NZ. Whatever. Water under a bridge.

The thing that really struck me today was seeing that absolutely no one I met had any clue that there was a World Cup on. This just shows that there will always be at least one group of people who simply don't care. Of course there are people who get in the way of what you want to do because they put pressure on you to perform, but at the same time there are people who are completely oblivious to your existence. Keep those people in mind when things don't go as well as you'd like them to.
