Once the snow melts

Where I live is snow country. In winter, it’s not uncommon to see ten or so centimetres of the white stuff on the ground as you pull up to your local supermarket. If you come late in the day, however, sometimes you see just how badly other people have parked. Sometimes people are parked exactly on top of the lines they are meant to park between.

Given enough time, those lines become visible, and those able to park between them do so. You may look like a fool once the snow melts, but you can’t blame those who didn’t park well, they were just doing the best they could with the information they had at the time.
