What the cold water teaches us

It’s unpleasant. It stings. It hurts. But you can train your mind to think otherwise. You can train your mind to switch the sensation from an unpleasant one to a sensation of simply being. To a sensation of acknowledgment of situation. To a sensation of acknowledgment of being alive. This is what the cold water teaches us.
