New perspectives on old feelings

It's pretty obvious, but how you view something now, and how you view it later, will almost certainly change with time. Armed with this in mind, there are some things that are worth waiting for before sharing. Not just because it helps you come to terms with your feelings, but with the advantage of time also comes the advantage of new perspectives on those feelings, and new perspectives may help you more easily put a positive spin on things, which in turn helps you to move forward.

This is not always the case of course. If it's something pressing that can have a huge impact on others, and it's something that if bottled up could be harmful, by all means get it out into the world. Just know that how you're feeling about something does indeed change over time, and that you have a choice on when to let your emotions be known, as well as who to let know.
